About me

I was born and raised in Glace Bay and spent most of my life playing goalie in hockey. Being the last line of defence teaches you to stay calm when things go wrong, and that's a big part of how I approach troubleshooting.

After high school I worked in the trades, including about eight months as an ironworker apprentice. It taught me a lot about safety, teamwork and reading technical plans, but I knew it wasn't the career for me. Technology was, so I went back to school and earned my Cyber Security diploma from NSCC in 2025.

Since then I've earned my CompTIA Network+, started working toward Security+, and learned Swift and SwiftUI by building an iOS game from scratch. I like figuring out why something is broken and fixing it, whether that's a network issue or a bug in my own code.

A competitive coding game for iPhone where two players race to solve the same Python problem in real time.

  • Ranked matchmaking with an ELO-based rating and levelling system
  • A single-player campaign mode

  • Sandboxed server-side code execution to safely run and grade players' Python

CyberVault

  • Zero-knowledge design using AES-256 encryption and cryptographic hashing
  • Multi-factor authentication by phone through AWS
  • ReactJS front end with a Flask API and PostgreSQL database

PokePlayer Automation Bot

Python, OpenCV, Tesseract OCR, CustomTkinter

A desktop automation tool for Pokémon that uses computer vision to read the game screen and react to it.

  • OpenCV template matching to recognize game states in real time
  • Tesseract OCR to read on-screen text for decision making
  • Multithreading, resolution detection and a control panel GUI
